Scleredema of Buschke

Scleredema of Buschke is a sclerodermiform condition of unknown etiology. It was first described (Sclerœdema adultorum of Buschke) in 1902 by Buschke who reported the case of a 46 year old adult presenting with skin hardening, initially on the nape of the neck then spreading to the rest of the body but sparing the hands and feet, after influenza [1].
